  earlier i had my bun with me in his pen outside to run around and munch on grass and whatnot. i went in to eat lunch and when i come out spazzy is near otu hydrangia bush munching on grass D: his pen is MUCH too high for him to jump over. i suspect he climbed out. i paniced a little becauseinstead of calmly coming to me when i came near he sprang all around like it was some sort of game. i went to nab him but grabbed his foot instead. he appears uninjured. me and my mom managed to corner him and catch him. he was a bit shaken but when i got him back to his cage i piled a big load of timothy hay for him in his litter box.
  
  im thinking that i should supervise him at all times when i let him outside. he has displayed this kind of climbing in his cage though. if i leave the top hatch open he can jump up onto it. ive gotten him back in the cage before he managed to get out though. this is the first time he has ever gotten out of his outdoor pen.

  You really should supervise at all times when he’s outdoors anyway, especially since your pen isn’t covered. I’ve read horror stories of birds or other animals

  Rabbits can jump many things.. What are the dimensions of the pen that you had outside?

  Yes, I would definitely supervise him when you have him outside. You want to be mindful of the presence of predators also, and be ready to close him up tight or preferably get him inside without allowing him to escape.

  Being gone at all is too long, if your bun is unprotected outside.

  yeah i kinda realize that now…. and today i forgot the cage was left open but at least he was in the house. we found him under my moms bed. i think he’s had plenty of adventures for the time being. i dont need to be having heart attacks at 16…….

  the character i based off of him is a secret agent. agent SPZ. i now know it fits him quite well.
