Hey guys, I’m new to this site, but it has been my go to for information so I’m hoping you guys can hep me out. My baby Molly is five months old. She is not yet spayed as the vet recommended 6-8 months old for this. Yesterday morning I had Molly out as usual and we we’re playing. She’s normally a very affectionate bunny and always wants to be around me. After I got home from work however, she wouldn’t come out of her cage and now she is growling at me and has even bitten me. Is this hormones making my baby act this way or should I be concerned it’s something much more serious?

Thanks guys! And feedback would be helpful I’m so heartbroken and concerned.

Hi! If she is still eating, drinking, and pooping normally, then something might have scared her when you were a work (ie. loud car going by). She could have just been reacting to that (…or yes hormones too). The only other thing I can think of is if she was reacting to pain if she hurt herself while you were gone. Had you touched one of her paws or anything when she bit you?
