I think he’s had this since I got him on Sunday. It’s a white bump or furry bump on Pinky’s nose. It’s hard to really see it because he moves his nose a lot. What could it be? I tried to get some photos while feeding him a piece of celery then petting him after (the rescue used to feed him celery). I would take the two buns to the vet to set them up for annual check ups, but because of covid I don’t want to have to drop them off and make them terrified in a new place without me. ):

A part of me says it may be harmless, especially since he’s had it since you got him. Bumps can be harmless, a part of the rabbit, or also be a sign of something more serious. Typically for the latter, the bump will change somehow over time, whether it be get bigger, start showing visible irritation to the rabbit, or something along those lines. It seems pretty small and the nose is one of the first tools they use to investigate their environment, so it might just be a small little bump from an injury? My instinct is to simply monitor and be more vigilant if it begins to change.

@Wick Thank you. I’ll try to keep track of it. He has a scar on the top of his nose (the furry part) that I think was from fighting with a rabbit at the petting farm. They gave him up to the animal shelter for fighting with the other unneutered males… And I got him from the shelter. I have a photo from them that shows the cut, but I think it’s healed now. Maybe the bump is related to it? I’m not sure. ): I’ll ask the vet to look at it when I can take them.

Wait I just noticed in that last photo that it looks like there’s a bump on top of his nose too, above the tip of it. I don’t know what it is.

Now I let him out on one little mat to look closer and I can’t tell if he has a few little bumps or it’s fur stuck together? I rubbed it but I can’t tell because of the lighting and he’s got white fur and light pink skin. 😣😣 I mean he’s probably fine but I’m worried. He was so sweet and put his head down while I pet his head and face. It also looked like he had a tiny bit of redness and a small dot of eye crust or something in the front corner of his eye.
