  I have a rex rabbit who’s about 4 years old now, and I found a bump on each side of his face on the skin right under his eyes. It’s in the same spot on both sides. I’m wondering if this is maybe an ingrown whisker or something more serious? Attaching picture and hopeful someone else has seen this before!!

  The bump is on the skin below his eye, one bump on each side.

  It’d be a bit weird to get a bump in the same spot on both cheeks unless it’s sth natural. Rabbits can get bumps around small tufts of hair that are attached at the base. These are called giant compound hair follicles: https://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/Hair
  
  Maybe the bumps you are seeing could have sth to do with that?

  I was thinking a similar thing because it looks like there’s a pin sized hole so could be related to fur/whiskers, but it’s def a bump in the skin and not something that can be pulled out. I’m going to take Pumpkin to the vet just to get it checked out 🙂

  The bump around the little fan-like hairtufts can’t be pulled out, the bump is part of the hair follicle. What you (sometimes) can pull out is the hairtuft with its little keratin plug, when its starting to come loose during shedding.
  
  It’s of course always safest to see a vet!
  
  In the picture the bump doesnt seem red or irritated, that’s good.
