I’ve had buddies for a little over two months now, he has full run of my appartment. He’s always seemed comfortable, and is spoiled rotten. He’s always changing for the better. He started hopping on my bed, jumping over my legs, then jumping off, then he started waking me up by touching his nose on my ear and wiggling his whiskers. If I didn’t get up, he would push his nose in my ear and sniff, that usually does the trick. Just in the last couple days, he started working on my eye to wake me up. He’d push his nose on my eyelid. Now he’s starting to lick my eyelid, and my head. This is usually 3:30am sometimes. Then every single morning, it’s between 5 and 6.he knows when I’m supposed to get up for work. My bunnies up all night and sleeps most of the day, yet he usually respects me when I’m sleeping, which he may have learned from me. He has his spot where he wants to be alone, sleeps etc.. I don’t bother him there. He comes out when he’s all slept out. He just started flipping on his side to sleep about a week ago. He goes into such a deeps sleep, he’s hard to wake up. Not that I do now, but the 1st time I saw him do this, I thought he died. I ran over to him and yelled… BUDDIE,  and he didn’t respond, tears started flowing, and I yield louder B U D D I E!!!!  And I touched his side and he popped up really fast and looked at me. I gave him a big hug. At that point I realized that he’s just getting more confortible and is not scared of anything. When he wants to play “chase”  he’ll look at me and run to the closet, I catch him not touching, then he runs to the bathroom, then to the kitchen. Rolls change and I run, he chases me now. I guess when you give them all your attention, learn their body gestures, they start acting like puppies. I love BUDDIE, and I know he loves me

Thanx sarita, I consider myself lucky having such a great rabbit. I think now I know how to get around this site and post, I’ll be around more.

Aww.. you’re so lucky! My guy Ziggy is more nosey with things around the house (or anything with a bell in it) than me. He has found a favourite spot under the bed and in front of my laptop. He doesn’t interact much with me, but he likes to just sit near me and get a few cheek scratches. I’m hoping after he gets bored of investigating the entire apt he’ll be interested in me. lol!
Does anyone have a noisey bun? Mine seems to enjoy anything that will make noise. Especially banging the cupborad doors. They have a safety feature so little fingers don’t get squished if you slam it.

I don’t have any noisy toys, I should try that with him. BUDDIE likes empty toilet paper rolls, he pushes them around and chews them up. I have a big super ball that he hardly ever plays with. Sometimes I wake up and it’s moved. BUDDIE is very much an Explorer. Anytime something new come in my appartment, he’s all over it, if it’s a box, he chews it, them jumps on top of it. I heard bunnies were ground animals, but BUDDIE gets up on everything. I have a box my my desk chair at my desk, he jumps on the box, then on the chair, then on the desk and hangs out. Getting down the same way, or jumping from the desk to my night stand, then onto my bed. Anything he can hop on, he’s up there, even trying to climb the wall if he see’s something higher. I have boxes in my closet stacked like stairs for him. Does anyone else have a climbing rabbit?
