I’ve had buddies for a little over two months now, he has full run of my appartment. He’s always seemed comfortable, and is spoiled rotten. He’s always changing for the better. He started hopping on my bed, jumping over my legs, then jumping off, then he started waking me up by touching his nose on my ear and wiggling his whiskers. If I didn’t get up, he would push his nose in my ear and sniff, that usually does the trick. Just in the last couple days, he started working on my eye to wake me up. He’d push his nose on my eyelid. Now he’s starting to lick my eyelid, and my head. This is usually 3:30am sometimes. Then every single morning, it’s between 5 and 6.he knows when I’m supposed to get up for work. My bunnies up all night and sleeps most of the day, yet he usually respects me when I’m sleeping, which he may have learned from me. He has his spot where he wants to be alone, sleeps etc.. I don’t bother him there. He comes out when he’s all slept out. He just started flipping on his side to sleep about a week ago. He goes into such a deeps sleep, he’s hard to wake up. Not that I do now, but the 1st time I saw him do this, I thought he died. I ran over to him and yelled… BUDDIE, and he didn’t respond, tears started flowing, and I yield louder B U D D I E!!!! And I touched his side and he popped up really fast and looked at me. I gave him a big hug. At that point I realized that he’s just getting more confortible and is not scared of anything. When he wants to play “chase” he’ll look at me and run to the closet, I catch him not touching, then he runs to the bathroom, then to the kitchen. Rolls change and I run, he chases me now. I guess when you give them all your attention, learn their body gestures, they start acting like puppies. I love BUDDIE, and I know he loves me
