I noticed some brown liquid where Bernard was sitting. I don’t think it’s blood but I don’t have any hydrogen peroxide to completely rule it out. When she reached down she got a little on her face. Is this normal? Poor girl has already been to the vet this month and has an eye appointment next month so I would for her to have to go again.

I got a paper towel wet and dabbed it, it’s definitely not blood. I think maybe I gave her too many pellets and it made her droppings a little watery. She’s acting normal

Looks like an poorly formed cecotrope. And she has poo on her face, literally.

Is that normal? It looks like some one spilled a few drops of syrup on a regular poop.

No, but if it’s just one then it was probably just a little upset. Have there been any more like this?

I noticed a spot about a month ago on her rug but I couldn’t remember if it was there before so I shrugged it off. There are also two more spots on her mat. It started happening when I added fruit back into her diet (Only a small piece once a week) I’ll stop the fruit and see if it helps

Yeah, it sounds like something is going on every now and then. You can try cutting out the fruit to see if that puts a stop to it. If it continues, you might need to look into this further.

I’m thinking she’s just one of those buns that can’t handle fruit at all 🙁
