I’m going to stay at my family cabin for week and I can’t decide what I should do with my bun. Should I bring him with me, board him, or have a friend take care of him? I’m concerned that if I have a friend take care of him or board him that he won’t be taken care of properly or will basically be alone for a week. It’s about a 4 hour drive up north on the other hand. I just want to stress him out the least amount possible.

Take him with you.  Just be sure to take enough food and toys for him.  Also a harness and leash so he can’t get away from you.  He should ride okay in a carrier.  (Use a seat belt to strap it into the car seat to keep him safe in the car.)

            It depends.
If you are worried about stressing him, make sure he is being taken care of by a trusted person. If you put him in a boarding house, be sure there is a quiet area for rabbits.

I would advise against harnesses – they are very dangerous and some rabbits can wiggle out of them. Also, you may not know if the area around the cabin has been treated. I say better safe than sorry.

I would leave him home, with a friend to take care of him. It’s less stressful that way.
