My rabbits have a pen in the yard where they spend time when it’s not too hot. It has a roof to protect them. I also added in some cages because I got worried they would forget their litterbox training and it turns out the cages serve as a platform to get closer to the breeze…

        Neigey likes it to himself.

I love it, Petzy! What are the temperatures up there now? This weekend we’re running at 100 with a heat index of 110 or so. Freaking hot. Did you pose them for that last photo? Perhaps we should bond Neigey and Lola, then they could be alone together. (I think that’s a bad CW song)

          No more weasel sightings?

I love it! They are so cute – especially Neigey.

Otto also loves to sit in a good breeze so that his hair blows around a bit. He wants to know when he can come hang out in your outdoor pen.

Oh, those are great photos! Neigy is quite the loner isn’t he?

It is in the 100’s as Kralspace says here in Texas – too hot for humans or buns to be out…wish we had the beautiful weather you have because (wo)man and beast would both love that but for right now, indoors rules.

It’s 75 here today but the pen is on the north side of my house. I do have to move their shade panels (cardboard) around during the day though. My greatest concern are the blackflies. They come out at dusk.
Neigey likes to be with Lint the most but sometimes he is at the sidelines… I guess because of Deirdra.

I cannot pose by rabbits, krals, that is a funny suggestion ~ the weasels are around but the particular one is gone (I did as katnip said: put dog p** into his den) the pen is weasel-proof. too slippery to climb and sunken into the ground well enough.

I made a video of them when they first got used to the addition of the wire crate and cage.

yeah, I like that too how my black bunny just let her jump over top of him. they were a harder bond.
