Just discovered another weird thing Moonpaw really wants to have. My husband put a wine glass on the floor while sitting on the couch. Moonpaw came over to investigate and got really excited. He shoved his face in the glass and knocked it over and started pawing at the glass and wedge his whole head in there. Luckily the glass only had a splash left in it, but clearly we’ve got to make sure we don’t leave any wine within his reach! Add that to the ever growing list of things Moonpaw will try and consume!

I just read this in another thread here! https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/169255/Default.aspx

Ellie from The Netherlands: Nail polish often has ethyl acetate as a solvent, and you can also find this in extremely ripe fruit. I suppose that’s very interesting to rabbits: Breintje likes his bananas best when they’re nearly brown and fermenting. He also likes the scent of beer and cocktails. When Bas was drinking a banana daiquiri Breintje went totally bonkers. Many animals like a buzz and nearly all of them will snack on overripe fruit, from crows to elephants.

Really interesting! Being a bunny owner is definitely keeping me on my toes. I think it would be easier to keep track of what they won’t eat, the list of what they will eat is just too long!

oh yes. My last bunny wasn’t too bad, but Sully is a whirlwind of trying to eat everything he isn’t suppose to. I woke up this morning to him trying to eat chocolate -__- Nothing like a rabbit panic wakeup. I think he was trying to get into the chocolate cause it had raspberry’s in it. But yeah, they’ll get into everything!! o__o

(He managed to eat a small nibble, so currently he’s locked back in his cage so I can monitor him and make sure he’s eating lots of hay!he’s fine though and has spent the last 40 minutes eating lots of hay)
