I have a rabbit named Pumpkin and another named Shiloh and they are both neutered male rabbits and I was hoping to bond them. I didn’t expect to bond them because I did get one to show, but after realizing he very loving of cats, I went ahead and neutered him. My other rabbit Shiloh, I had neutered him awhile ago, but he loves to be around all animals. So I wanted to bond them as I feel this would be the great thing for the both of them, and while doing research, a lot of people where saying “it’s best to bond a female and male…” I haven’t bonded rabbits before, so would it be possible for two male rabbits to bond?

Bonding males is totally doable, and there are many happy male pairs. Male-female is just the easiest, and two females is definitely the hardest. It really just comes down to their personalities and if you’re patient enough during bonding.

So start out with prebonding them for a month by switching their items between their cages or switching them between enclosures. Then after a month you can start short (5-10 minute) sessions in neutral territory. You want to always end on a positive or a neutral interaction between them that way they have something to build on for their next session. The better they do the more you can increase sessions.

Sirius on here has a trio of 2 boys and 1 girl and her boys got along wonderfully right from the start! Her female was the troublesome one ? So it’s definitely possible

                Yep, definitely possible!

Some boys even do better with other boys, especially when they are “socially awkward”, lol. The coordinator at my rescue says some boys just want to talk about football with other boy bunnies, and don’t understand female bunnies lol.
