Delilah is the one with a bit of white on her nose? Things look like they’re better with her and Dexter. The neutral territory helps!

Yes she has the milk lip/chin. It didnt go as bad as I thought it would have! She had an off morning today but then when I did the session only nippage!

It definitely looks like Delilah is trying to instill her dominance over the new bunny. The way she hopped up to him and put her face down while he was grooming himself is classic. I think once Dexter accepts her as the dominate one, things will go better.

mrmac, this is a great video… I like how you cut it together. Reminds me of Lint with the corner position. I think, you will see more and more improvements with each session. The nipping didn’t look bad to me, there was no chasing or reciprocating. Will your trio eat favorite treats together?

I just dont think Dexter gets it! Davey asks him to groom him all the time but he just wont do it! It is the nose to nose stare down, then Davey occasionally will give in and give him a little lick! hehe I know thats what I thought too, and that is ‘her’ corner, she goes to that spot everytime we go out there. The nipping wasnt as bad as I thought it would be either! They will eat raisins most of the time when they’re together, once in a while Davey or Delilah will turn it down but Dexter is CRAZY about treats and begs…alot…hehe Hopefully todays will go well too!

Dexter is young isn’t he? Also less socialised – so he has a bit to learn. With Jers & Rumball, she groomed him in bonding and he just wouldn’t. When I encouraged it he would be rough and she skittish. The break through really came when he groomed her (not prompted by me) in non neutral space. After that, they were bonded. Now he always grooms her and she rarely grooms him!

Hes only about 5 months or so, so he has to learn the bunny ways! We were also told that he had never been around another bunny, let alone two.He licks my hands like crazy, but just not the most important two! Oh well he will learn…I can get him to lick them though if I smear some raisin goo on their heads but nothing on his own yet…

I got so excited when he started licking him! Then it made Davey mad and he tried to nip him, but it counts to me!

To day I thought we almost had a breakthrough! When I did their bonding session Dexter actually groomed Delilah, and she loved it!  But then it all went bad once we got back inside…Dexter was out playing and Delilag actually charged the xpen wall…hard! The whole thing moved! I got so excited…She has to be really territorial of her cage then cause all she does is nip but tolerate him outside.

The bonding sessions continue…Dexter is all about grooming Delilah! He just licks and licks and licks her ears! But then if he tries to walk around her then she nips him, and if he comes near Davye he does too! He just wants them to like him! hehe But they do tolerate him quite well out on the patio…
