  Esmeralda’s and Marge’s bonding officially began today. It went a lot better than I thought it would. I was very nervous at first because I have scars (literally) from a fight they had years ago. I put them on a small tub on top of the wash machine, instead of the car ride. They didn’t appear mad or aggrestive. There were a couple of nips at fur, and Marge tried to mount a few times. But over all, they cuddled a little, and I think I spotted a few grooms. I hope next time goes as well as this time did.
  
  I will keep you posted on how it contuines to go. I will try to get photos up that were taken, also.

  Okay, so I repeated the process a day later. I’m having a super hard time just stepping away and seeing what will happen because of a bad fight they had about a year and half ago. The weird thing is that Marge always acts dominate, until she’s in a stressful situation with Esmeralda. The second time I did a bonding session, Marge kept putting her head under Esmeralda’s chin, like a submission act. What the heck? What does that mean? They didn’t seem aggressive, but the submission act has me very confused. Where should I go from here?

  Putting the head down under the others chin isn’t submissive. It’s dominant, demanding to be groomed.
