I may be adopting a little female dwarf bunny, I’m supposed to go meet her tonight…not holding my breath though, they backed out of the meeting the last time we tried.  She’s absolutely precious, about a year old, looks so much like my Rufus and is located in my little town…which is kind of crazy, because I’ve been looking all over the state recently, and she’s the one I have been the most drawn to. I’m not 100% sure it’s the right thing to do, but seeing all of the bunny pairs on here…it does seem like it’d be good for Rufus. And her. Her name’s Ailla. ANYway…I would have her spayed asap, and was wondering how long I’d need to wait after the spay before I can introduce them? Rufus was neutered months ago, so he’s good to go. Also, would they be able to have their cages near each other? Is there anything else I should be considering? Thanks so much!!

Wait a full month after she is spayed to introduce them, all her hormones will be gone by then

Ack that’s what I thought I remembered lol…dang. So would it be a bad idea to introduce them before we make the final decision to adopt her or not, just to see what he thinks of her (and vice versa)?

Probably a bad idea, as an unspayed female will react different than a spayed female.

Blind leap of faith lol…fun! Well, we’ll see how me meeting her goes, if it even happens…once again I can’t get ahold of them so maybe it just isn’t meant to be. Thanks for the replies, Monkeybun.
