I am looking for some advice on bonding. We got a girl bun (first time bunny parents) about 2 months ago and she quickly became free roam. About 3 weeks later we brought a boy home. We were lead to believe that bunnies bond very easily and I hate to say we didnt do the proper research. Both bunnies were not fixed but we did pit them together a few times and they actually did pretty well, alot of ignoring and our girl bun being  territorial but we thought she was trying to be dominant. She would chase but the boy always ran away and nothing escalated. It turns out she was pregnant. She had 2 kits that didnt make it and we actually had to take her to the vet because the 2nd got stuck. We seperated them after this because we got our male fix and wanted him to heal. 2 weeks later we got our girl bun spayed. It has now been 2 weeks since the girl has been spayed. We’ve had her in a bedroom with a grate in front of the door so she could heal from the spay but they could still see each other. I want to start bonding them but I dont know where to start. They interact through the grate and I feed them on either side and they seem ok with each other. I think shes getting bored in the room though because shes nipping a bit when we go in there and I dont know if shes mad because she sees the other roaming around the house. We were told shes probably around 1 yr old and we dont know her situation before we got her but shes a little more skittish. Our boy is about 5 months and very friendly and loves to be pet. I’ve researched bonding them in increments in a neutral space and 24/7 bonding were you just dont sperate them unless a fight breaks out but I’ve never done this before. Any advice is appreciated( sorrry this was so long).
