Hey everybunny I have a quick question. I have 2 bunnies a male and female but I would really like to get a 3rd bunny. I can’t choose on which gender I want.
There is a female bunny at my local shelter that I’d love to adopt but there is also a male bunny there I want to adopt as well. I’m very confident in bonding my 2
Bunnies but I’m afraid I won’t be able to bond all 3. Does anyone on her have trios or groups? What do you think is better male or female? I know same gender
Bunnies can bond but I know Females are very territorial an I’m afraid my 9 month old female dwarf will get in fight with the other female and will get hurt. I’m really
Considering a male but I just can’t choose.

It’s really hard to say! I do think most trios end up being two males and 1 female, but bonding really comes down to personalities (and patience).

If for some reason you can’t bond the trio do you have space to keep the third separate? Or to add a fourth and have two pairs?

You could try a date with all three (with the help of the shelter) and see which combo is better?

Thank you! I’m getting the male rabbit just to be safe an I fell in love with the cutie ❤️ But I’m gonna bunny date first an if nothing works out then I won’t get 3rd bunny.
