My friend and I are both students and are moving in together next year.

She has 3 bunnies who are all bonded and are all females who are spayed. I have 2 female spayed bunnies. Are separate groups of bunnies are all bonded well and have lived together for at least a year.

We were wondering if it would be possible to bond our two groups of bunnies? We will be living together for a year and then will probably go our separate ways (with respective bunnies).

Will it be possible to bond the 2 groups and then separate them at the end of the year? They will therefore go back to their original pair/trio after a year.. will this be too stressful?

The main reason we want to do this is because one of the trio was rescued and HATES being shut in a room (they are all house bunnies but live in our bedrooms at the moment)

It is possible to bond 5, we have several members on here who have 5 or more. However, you should not bond your bunnies if you have the intent of ever separating them, as they can become extremely attached to their mates and become deppressed when separated. So no-I wouldn’t try to bond them.
Can you seperate your house with a baby gate with a towel over it or something so each set of buns can have half the house?

            I agree with LEL.

It’s possible to bond 5 rabbits but once bonded they shouldn’t be separated.
