Artemis (my girl bunny) is really good about using litter-box. (we’ve had her for approximately 2 years — she was abandoned by neighbor). We recently brought home a new (boy) rabbit (from SPCA shelter). We slowly introduced them. There was a bit of chasing and territorial activity (mainly the new boy was the aggressive one) — but now, it seems they’ve bonded. He even licks her head.

But Artemis seems to have regressed — going potty outside of box.
We have two litter-boxes (adjacent to each other).
I realize scattering (their dung) is a territorial thing…
but I think we’re past that.
I am keeping the litter-boxes clean.
How do I re-train them to use potty properly?
I’m wondering if I need to separate them — so they establish ownership of a litter-box (each).

Hi, I’m assuming your boy is neutered?
