Just a silly thought. Watching Thor do her morning sillies around the apartment.

Do bunnies binky when they’re alone? Or do they just do it in a social context? (i.e. human or bonded bunnymate nearby). Anyone have any solo binkies caught on a bunny cam or somesuch?

I left my room earlier while Blossom was hiding under my bed/playing and I opened my door to find her in a mid binky when no one was around XD

I’m interested in this! Maybe it’s time for some hidden cameras ….

            I suspect it’s a social thing…. but who knows!

I figure I’m just so awesome, that’s why my bunny is binkying.

I like to think I’m a participant in the binky process as well

We make a point of watching the wild rabbits that live around us (And honestly, I cannot imagine living anywhere where there wasn’t wild rabbits around), and I can attest that the wild buns are prone to binkies at random times for random reasons, and it’s alway hysterical.

Lucky. Our bunny visitors occasionally lounge in the garden, but I’ve never seen one binky

I’ve got a little lady that seems to be both a social and private binky enthusiast with me… but a bit more reserved with my son…still head rubs galore and just keep those yummies coming!

I think they do it at any given moment, whether we are around, or not. Happy buns mean happy mum’s!! I imagine it’s the same as when people aren’t home, and cats race around the house, and the hall carpet has moved a few feet and bunched up when you get home.

Good to know, sounds like they just binky when they want then

JLH, that’s too funny. A few months ago, I woke up to thumps and things falling over, thought someone had broken in as well! Turns out Thor had figured out how to climb onto the kitchen table and was halfway through a banana that we store up there
