One of the buns I got today has had a few big poops. I have this photo comparing to my thumbnail. He also had at least one that was a bunch of like normal sized poops clumped together. Is this just from stress? Not eating enough hay because of the change? What else? Thanks.

Generally speaking, big poop is a good thing. It means increase in hay consumption and more fiber to poop out.

With it being only a couple, I actually wonder if it’s just filled with fur. Alternative to the string-of-pearl poops, there is also fur encased in poops when the rabbit passes fur through its system. If you still have one of the poops, maybe try opening it. It may have fur, or it could just crumble. Either way, it shouldn’t be too worrisome!

@Wick Thank you so much! The other bun also made his water in his water bowl yellow when I woke up today. I just put in water yesterday and the other bun’s water was fine this morning. I rinsed it out and put new water in. What could of made it yellow?

Yellow makes me think it was peed in or the bowl has accumulated some bacteria making the water become a breeding ground very fast.

@Wick Thank you. Maybe he just peed in it then! Or some pee washed off in the water when he stepped in it.
