You know that product that is advertized to deter animals from chewing almost anything, well…

        1. It works like a charm to deter your animal from chewing things

        2. It works as a human repelent too

        3. It tastes HORRIBLE!

I am feeling quite bad about putting it on Fern’s cage where she chews because it tastes soooo bad! I wanted to pet Fern after handeling the stuff and I washed my hands thoroughly with soap and water, tasted my hands to see if they still had the taste on them and…. YUK

I still have the taste in my mouth and it won’t go away!! I ate chocolate, candy, drank water, rinsed my mouth out and no avail. I am afraid to touch anything that might be used for food later.

        EWW it tastes sooo bad!

If anyone has an animal chewing problem this might work cause it would work as a human deterant! It has NO SMELL whatsoever too! And it is animal safe.

BUT I HATE THE WAY IT TASTES, I THINK THE TASTE WILL NEVER GO AWAY!!!

        SAVE ME!

(I really need to find a neutralizing thing to make the taste go away, vinigar does not work)

I used that 2 years ago.  Do you know it still on my computer wires back there.  When ever I have to do something back there that taste still gets all over my hands.  Washing them doesnt’ cut it.

by the way  Cotton still chewed some on the computer wires.     It worked excellent on poor Laith he never even chewed toys.  Maybe he just wastn’ the chewing type tho.

Try using mouthwash on your skin and a swish for your mouth too if the taste is still there. If you don’t have any handy – try toothpaste instead.

Lol my mom used something like this on her couch because she doesn’t like the dogs on the furniture. The dogs ignored it but anytime anyone sat down on the couch it is all you would taste for a week. It has been almost a year and I still can’t sit on it I don’t know how the dogs just ignore it.

Did anyone else catch that poor Moonlight_Wolf said, “(I really need to find a neutralizing thing to make the taste go away, vinigar does not work)”….

Poor thing! Are you swishing straight vinegar to try to make it go away?!

((Should I do it???? Oh, how much do I want to tempt fate today?!!!))

(((Fearing MimzMum’s wrath, I will slink away now…!)))

                      Lightchick LOL!!!!

A little hydrogen peroxide and water as a hand rinse and mouthwash might do the trick.

I’d stick with vinegar as a chewing deterrent for the bunny.

Ew. My sister used to have this ‘no bite’ stuff because she always chewed her own nails. I tried it once and it was horrible. I still chew my nails though so maybe I should look into it.

HAHA, no I washed my hands with vinegar and it did not work.

Eventually the taste went away but now I am afraid to touch my dog’s harness because we put it on his harness to stop him from chewing it. It works for my dog, I am not sure about Fern though, I think she still was chewing on her cage.
