The shelter had named my new bun Bunny Boop…nope!

I’m calling her Boo, unless something else comes along.

She’s currently in a dog crate next to Walter and for a few hours of the day, I put him up in his cage and put her in the x pen.  I’m also sharing some “smells” between litter boxes.

They are very interested in one another.

So, as for me, any tips?  She doesn’t seem quite as frightened as yesterday.  I’m currently sitting in the pen and sorta ignoring her.  She did check me out and I got a few kisses, so that seems like a good sign.

Awww congrats! Boo is a really cute name!

I have had the best luck with completely ignoring new buns for at least a week LOL. I mean not really ignoring, but I like them to get completely settled and feel like their space is their space. I just give food, water, etc. Try not to clean her litter box while she’s in the pen. You can leave the pen open for exercise, but don’t hover too much.

But the fact that she came up to check you out is great. 🙂 I would keep spending quiet time on the floor near her pen and “play hard to get”, by not trying to pet or interact too much, just let her explore you and the space.
