Best Toys

[Cocoa]

I need some good toys that aren’t too expensive to keep them entertained. I have tried to make toys but they dont seem interested in them. I want to get a tunnel for them and some obstacle things for them to jump on. And a few small things for them to chew on. I am in the US by the way. Please post links to the toys, thank you!

For Wick, it’s not a toy that he plays with on his own, but when I give him pellets or a treat, I’ll use it to hide them, stack em, and he’ll have to throw stuff around to get it. Probably not fun for him, but it’s good engagement.

Unless it’s a vessel for food, Wick doesn’t “play” with anything, so i try and switch it up with the cups so he’s staying engaged and curious. I’ll stack em on top of each other, collapse them together, spread them all out, make mini towers with them… All the arrangements will be hiding food.

(you can get any stacking cups. They’re all pretty much the same. You can read questions asked and usually paranoid moms will comment if the cup is made out of toxic materials. Since they’re made for babies, they’re safe for rabbits usually (unless they try and eat the plastic))

I got mine a load of cardboard boxes and cut holes in them and stacked them up usng a safe glue to stick them to create a box fort-cheap and one of their favourite things! Mine also like their cat climbing tower, and their cat radiator bed

Like wick most rabbits are very food driven, so stuffing toilet roll tubes with hay and treats tend to be some of the most popular “toys”

Dig boxes are also a really good thing for them, but can be really messy for a house rabbit

I need some things for them to chew on though. I have some wooden blocks and I could probably put large holes in the bottoms and I could set treats in there

Cardboard is the most delightfully chewable thing for bunnies, collect rabbit safe branches or buy them bunny safe baskets (willow basket etc)

I actually found some great stuff on amazon. I found a nice tunnel that I think they’d like. I also asked my dad and he has the right drill bit thing for the project I mentioned before. I want to expand their current cage and use a ramp to make another floor below the current one. I want to get a really durable tunnel and have that go from one side of the bottom floor to the other side but to go behind the cage. I don’t really know how to explain it very well sorry

Mine really like any type of tunnel. Chewable ones like cardboard, willow or hyacinth that will have randomly dissappeared within a few weeks or just plastic-y ones that get ruined within a few weeks as well.

They also like the chewable balls (willow balls, hyacinth balls, rope balls…) or anything not shaped like a ball that’s chewable.

I had a flower decoration piece hanging from their pen. It was on the outside but they kept pulling little flowers off it through the pen. So now I bought their own flower bouquet. xD I linked it below. Note, they are links to the brand Rosewood so not an actual webshop, as I’m not 100% sure that’s allowed. If you want a durable tunnel, don’t get a flimsy plasticy one you can fold up. Those are broken very fast, which is not a bad thing if they’re cheap but if they’re a staple to your pen (the only way to get from point a to b) you will want something sturdier. The chewable ones may be gone within a week, so take that into account as well.

I was planning on using the more flimsy one inside their pen. For the connecting one, I want to use this like black tunnel that is used it construction sometimes. Sorry I don’t really know how to explain it. I will check out those links so thank you
