So my dad is switching rooms around because apparently he needs a train room eventually for his hobbies.

So! I am going to be moving into the unfinished and unused living room which is 3 times bigger then my room! He’s going to be adding a door and the floor isnt finished right now

So, I get to pick what kind of floor I want!

I decided I want something waterproof so it’s easier to clean then my fully carpeted floor I currently have

But I don’t want the bunnies to be uncomfortable and slipping around a lot

So what kind of floor do you guys think would be best? Vinyl? Linoleum? Tile? Cemertic tile? Something else?

Also what else is good to put on the floor so the bunnies won’t slip around as well yet easy to clean?

How exciting! I would have said lino or vinyl but if ceramic tiles are an option I’d go for that! More bun proof if they like to dig!

You could then put foam mats and blankets around for them so they have both a soft surface and a hard surface.

            Thanks Sarah!

Yeah I’m rather excited, theres even a built in book shelf in that room which is awesome cause I have a lot of books that right now are just sorta piled around

And the bunnies will have more room for when I’m gone during the day! Yay! (They only get to free run the house while I’m home to supervise) I mean they have lots of room now but after they’ll have loads of room

And I was thinking cemetric tiles too cause they sounded pretty durable!

Glad you think they’d be good for bunnies

I put vinyl in my bun room because it cleans so well. Of course, with hard floor like that you’ll need to put down lots of soft stuff like fleece and memory foam mats to prevent sore hocks.

Yeah I live in the basement right now so it’s just cement covered in carpet it’s rather not soft so I already use lots of matts and memory foam so I figure it should be similar
