We moved into a new apartment recently and from day one we have a had cockroaches. We’ve been keeping our apartment very clean but I still see them at night sometimes. Our landlord is going to hire an exterminator but said they wont be able to come and spray until a few weeks into September. Anyone know of any bunny safe roach killing tactics I can try until then?

Maybe you can try to trap some of them, or seal up your home. Here is an article I found.

I’ve also heard of a bug spray called Zevo, and it says it’s safe for pets when used as directed, but if you do use it you should do so sparingly and far away from your rabbit and avoid spraying it into the air. You also should read the directions carefully. Maybe if where the cockroaches are getting in is a place your bunny never goes, it might be okay to spray it there. I’m not sure if I would use it, though, because the inactive ingredients don’t seem very safe for rabbits.

You could get roach baits and leave them in places where the rabbit can’t access.

Food grade diatomaceous earth might also help (you could sprinkle in around the areas with a lot of roaches, such as under fridge and over, around trash bins, etc.).
