  it’s been about 4 days since my bunny got neutered and it only seemed to make him more skittish and aggressive. i know he might still be mad and antsy about being on pen arrest but i wanted to see if maybe it was for a different reason. he seems oddly defendant over my bed now, which he never was before. he bit my sister for sitting on my bed which. again, he never used to bite before, and he bit me for sitting on my own bed as well. he knows it’s mine, i kept him from marking it as his before he was neutered so it seems odd to me, especially coupled with the biting. he’ll still let me pet him just fine, and i believe he’ll let me cuddle with him as the fear from being neutered fades, and the biting might as well but i wanted an explanation if anyone has one :0
  
  tldr; my bunny just got neutered and bites people when they sit on my bed now. any explanations other then ‘give it time and he’ll stop’

  A lot of bunnies go through a post neuter craze which basically means their hormones go a little crazy for a while before they then settle. It’s totally normal and nothing to worry about All it means is for a few weeks his behaviour will – as you’ve witnessed – get worse before it gets better.

  Post neuter crazy is normal, but also rule out pain before settling on that response. Have you been checking the incision site for anything off and are there any signs he’s uncomfortable?

  ooooh ok that makes sense it was weird to me cause he seemed more aggressive if anything lol i was so confused ty :3

  yes i’ve been checking him daily as well as giving him his medicine. i could tell he was in pain for the first day or two (he couldnt lay down as usual) but now he seems fine. he’s been running around and binkying as normal, theres no swelling or infection, nothing that would put him in pain i believe. everything seems perfectly normal with him but the biting.
