        RIght now i currently use shavings {not ceder} and i just love the way carefresh looks how you can choose all diffrent colors, but its so expensive! My rabbit is littertrained so the bedding stays fairly clean besides a couple little pices of poop {my vet told me he is just marking his teritory}. I used to use carefresh when he was a baby…it got tooo expensive while i was littertraining {when he had accidents}. I think i could afford it now that he is littertrained. What should i do , switch over to carefresh or stay to shavings? Thankyou for your help!

          Is it bedding everywhere int he cage, or just the litterbox? Honestly, Its cleaner and less expensive if you use just int he litterbox If you want something soft for bun to lay on, you could always put a towel or fleece blankie in there for him, and toss it int he wash when it needs it

            No bedding is needed except for the litter box. Otherwise, bunny will get confused where to do his business.

              Yup what they said above. I use a fleece blanket, if it gets soiled I just wash it and toss a clean one in.

                I agree, bedding isn’t necessary. In fact, sometimes it can cause a rabbit to stop being litter trained. My bunnies are on carpets and blankets.

                  Oh okay! I have rabbit litter pellets in his litter box so it would just me for outside of the cage. I like to use a bedding because my rabbit just eats cloth {he first ripps them then eats the fabric}. Although I do like the idea of just having a towel or fleece and just washing it ! Is there a way i can get him to stop eating the fabric?

                    Not really.If he eats it, then just dont put it in there. I’m assuming you don’t have wire floors, so he’ll be alright Don’t use towels as the threads can make them sick, but fleece is ok because it doesn’t unravel.

                      Try some different types of blankets and see if he doesn’t eat one type, Stickers for instance (my mini-rex) will eat carpet and towels but she won’t chew on sweat shirts and blankets.

                        ^^ One time I tried a shirt! Panda didn’t eat that one =]

                        {Edit: Before you put it in the cage wash it! It couldx have perfume or oils, which could be harmful to your bundul of bun! ;D}
