BB box came today

OH boy.   Cotton got a little square wooden banana chew.  HE is going crazy with it since I put it in his house.   Their oat hay came in too.  I have so much hay right now 4 different varieties  lol.   Did I overdo it or what?  I won’t need to get some for a month or so lol.

I am going to the bb store and check out those new banana cube chews.  My buns are going to need some of those.   And the love grass.  Let me go see what it is.

Cotton was all excited about his stuff.  He was trying to get to the oat hay when I sat it by his cage to read what came in the treat bag. Ruby is going to want some stuff too. Let me go see about getting some more stuff.

I am going to go throw the box out first b4 hubby comes home from fishing so he won’t fuss at me.

Too funny, glad I’m not the only who one makes ‘secret’ purchases for their buns! Somehow those receipts and the packages disappear…how does that happen?!?! hehehe :p (A bunny fairy drops them outta the sky and into my buns’ area!)

OH goody  I will for sure order some I hope you get quiet a bit in cause they are a big hit.

Do you know I got the bunny butt!!!   I think once Cotton figured out it wasn’t a real banana he got upset ehehee.  It fell off his shelf and I tied it to the bars in front of his shelf then he decided nope bunny butt Mum.

Either he doesn’t like it there or he got mad it wasn’t a real banana.  rofl  I am going to untie it make him happy.. I think he just doesn’t like it where I tied it.  I will find out soon enuf 

HE immediately went to town chewing on it.  He such a charactor and it ends up they like the new oxbow papay after all.  Wow.

Yes I was able to sneak the box into the garbage outside b4 hubby got in.  lol… Yep the bunny fairy dropped it off.   I even go so far as to put the boxes with receipts into the garbage cans on the neighbors building so he won’t accidentally see it   hehehe  We are so baaaad.

lol shhhh    Nope Cotton is mad about that banana chew.   He hasn’t touched it since it fell from his shelf. ahahaaa.   He was mad it isn’t a real banana  rofl… Aren’t they something?   I am still getting some next month though.

YEah yesterday at 6am  I was diggin in the cans to find the little box the papaya came in.  I saw my neighbor later that day she said she heard me and thought it was a racoon so she went to look  and saw me instead.  I was the racoon rofl. 

gosh I keep hearing this rumbling noise.  There are no clouds in the sky what in the world is it makign that noise?

LOL that’s true sometimes!  My buns always have fresh veggies- but sometimes there’s a shortage of fresh human food in the fridge!!

I just ordered your kabob (it’s payday next week and I’ve done the work, so what the heck.) and can’t wait to see how Sammykins likes it.

You know I shouldnt even tell you guys this but I just love you all so much!

So…I made the batch for Jen and had the box sitting in the living room and was waiting to put the tags on them and the box was sitting on the floor with the opening flush with the top of the ottomon….Cooper jumped straight up in the air a few feet and landed in the box! I about had a heart attack! Ack! All that hard work and here Cooper ruins it all!

And then he sat there waiting to be rescued. He knew he couldnt get out because he kinda sank in the box. It was before I packaged everything so they were all just kinda “thrown” in there and he kinda sank and he realized there was no way without a fight he was gonna get out. He didnt hurt anything at all thankfully so I just got a great laugh out of it. My worker bunnies playing on the job. Geez!

Thankfully he didnt touch anything else but he did run off that morning with a banana cube. That was his bribe for not touching anything else.

Im working on more things all the time and papaya is next on the list (hopefully I can tell you that).

Hahah, it’s funny when bunnies fly in out of the blue and land somewhere odd. Frankie is terrible about getting excited and running out in front of people unannounced. He probably gets kicked unintentionally at least 3 times a day because of it!

Hedi – I’m excited to try the new toys with Frankie, but want to wait until Jen has more hay cakes in stock (if that ever happens, hehe)!

Any teeth marks and we will replace it. My worker buns know better! lol I think Cooper thought he would get a free trip to CA out of hanging out in the box long enough. lol He hears us talk about Jennifer and Jack and Rucy so much I guess he thought he would go for a visit.

Hedi- What do you use to flavor the banana cubes? Is it imatation banana flavoring for baking? I’m so impressed because they don’t have any color and certainly don’t turn brown like a nana.

And just some feedback for you and BB, my gift cube came yesterday and I let Scooter sniff it- he grabbed it out of my hand and took off with it! Within 60 seconds he had torn the corner off and was acting like a dog with a bone. I thought he”d had it long enough after 10 min so I tracked him down and Odie only ended up with a quarter of it and the string! I put it Odies hay box cause he seemed to “take it or leave it” and later I noticed there was only string left.

So keep these around and maybe my guys will give up my baseboards!!!

Hi KitD-

The only thing I can really tell you without giving away any of my secrets is I ONLY use real food to flavor the wood pieces. So if we can’t eat it then they I won’t use it. So it truely is real fruit and 100% fruit juices when fruit can’t be used or needs liquid to be used.

I use real bananas which is why Scooter would love it.

BTW- the string is Sisal Rope so it is safe for them to chew on and ingest to some point. At some point we will be offering toys that are all one flavor for those crazy bunny lovers.

Digmexnow – We finally got in the Hay Cakes today, as well as the 10 lb version of Oxbow Papaya tablets.   We only show five pounds now, but that will be changed by Saturday night.

KitD – I am very impressed too how great these are.  I also can’t expose any of Hedi’s secrets if I know any…, but I can tell you that it wasn’t easy for Hedi to perfect these a method that would maintain flavor, yet still be dry and fresh. It really is a great new chew toy!

Well, it’s my fault for not realizing that the apartment office does not call a resident when a package is dropped off there. Fed Ex did not leave me a note, so while my first order of snacks came on the 27th, I didn’t think to get it until the 31st. Grrr.

BUT, not only were the fresh treats well received, but there was a sample banana balsa piece on string in the box. WAS. It has been shaved down to dust with the speed of teeth. Boy, did she love it! So I am eagerly awaiting the Kabob to arrive next. I will lurk around bushes for the next 2 days off watching for the Fed Ex truck.

Hey Pam, BB mentioned in another thread about discount you get if parcels delivered to a business address. Maybe you could get things delivered to your workplace?

It’s a good idea, Jerseygirl, but I don’t think it’s possible. I’m pretty sure they don’t like staff to do personal stuff like that there, and the packages are delivered to the other building. Sometimes our AA who receives deliveries doesn’t even tell us when our order of work supplies arrived. So it would still sit there for 3 days undiscovered!

Rachel what did you get for Mr.Frankie- the baggie of cube chews or the hanging kabob? The pieces on the kabob are much larger than the bagged cubes so they will last a lot longer. But it is nice we figured out a way for buns to try them before “investing” in a more expensive toy.

Like willow balls..I was talking w/ my dad today about the amount of $ my husband and I spend on those things only for Cooper to chew/eat and entire large ball or willow cube in and entire night! And they are so expensive! lol What we do for our buns!!

I bought two of the 3-packs. Frankie is usually picky, but since they were flavored with fruit juice, I figured he’d go for them. I gave him the bag of love grass yesterday with the balsa cube attached and he attacked the cube! Thanks, Hedi!

You and Frankie both are welcome! 3 of the 4 of my buns are pretty picky as well so even when I do the banana cubes they have to be a certain ripeness for them to turn out correctly. Such high maintenance buns!

rabbitpam, you should be able to login to your STORE ACCOUNT and check the tracking of your package. You can also copy the tracking number and paste it to the tracking window on Fedex. Maybe that will keep you out of the bushes.
