Banana for scale! (bunny size photos)

Hi everyone,

Inspired by my other thread, just for some silly fun, let’s post pics of our bunnies with bananas for scale. Or anything else that makes your bunnies look ridiculously large or tiny.

I’ll get us started… *hint: true, my bunnies are small (1.75lbs) but this banana is also gigantic*

Lol. Fun thread idea. (I just read through your thread where this originated. I don’t know if it would be possible for me to take pic of mine next to banana without them dragging it off to devour!) I’ll put them on my shopping list though. Looking forward to seeing more pics.

Welcome by the way. Beautiful bun-buns you’ve got there. We had a member here that used to post regularly, that had Tan bunnies. So we got an idea of how active and mischievous they can be!

Mango: Cute buns! As I told Vienna in her thread, this is a really fun idea, so I’ll pop down to the little shop next door as soon as I get home from work and pick up a banana and a can of coke and then try to take some pictures before Chewie has his way with both grocery items.

P.S. Toronto! I live in Kuwait now, but used to live in Toronto back in the day.

Bam, I have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s not like the little convenience shop downstairs would just so happen to be out of bananas and the only fruit I have in the fridge are oranges and diced pineapple… That would be absurd!

Q8, a parshnip might actually be even better for measuring than a banana, since a parshnip keeps for a very long time if stored cool and dark. You can bring out the parshnip once a month and re-measure the bun, as an excellent and very practical way to keep an eye on your bunny’s figure. Can’t do that with a banana!

The bananas at the store were all green.      I thought it would be cruel to take photo of buns next to a banana they couldn’t eat. I do have banana chips…. But there is NO CHANCE they’d last before I could take a photo. lol

Lol @Q8bunny. Nice touch with the parsnip. I’m gonna try and get a banana pic, but Thor LOVES them. He pulls the peels out of the bin, and has also successfully stolen them from my chihuahua, Lil Bear. They got into a tug of war over it, so fingers crossed.

The shelter said he loved bananas, so I am not responsible for his addiction.
