Bald spot help

Hey all, I’m new here, and this looks like a very informative site btw.  I have been doing alot of reading.  I do wish the mazes or house would come back in stock lol. Anyhow, I was looking for a bit of help.

We just got our American Fuzzy Lop Ear about a month ago, the pet store said he was about 2 months old. I took him to the vet last week for a checkup, and they said he was fine.  He has hair loss on his neck area around his back and  backside of his head, for example, it would be like the top of your spine/neck if it were on a human.  The vet said it could have been from another rabbit or something, overgrooming i dunno, he took some hair and put it in a jar to test for bacteria i think.

Bunny seems happy(sorry, my cat is named kitty, we just left it at bunny) and eats alot, when hes out of the cage he plays just fine and then plops down when he wants to relax. I’m a little concerned about the missing fur, does anyone have any info on this?  Thanks alot!

I would consider seeing another vet…. he would do more than take a sample of a hair, and did he ever get back to you? Not all vets are rabbit savvy, and finding one can be a bit difficult.
