        Hello

I have 2 bunnies ( male & Female ) , both not fixed ( as I mentioned in my earlier posts that we don’t have any exotic vets here & my horrible experience with normal vets) , both the bunnies are kept in seperate rooms . A month back , me & my family came to see unexpected litter of 6 babies , we didn’t know about the pregnancy at all .

All babies are good & healthy till yesterday,  but one is not eating much & no activity at all from morning,  I’m scared as I have zero experience with baby bunnies . I’m trying to feed her hay , pellets . The baby is eating few pellets but no hay , today she didn’t drink the milk from her momma also while remaining were all drinking . Please suggest what to do now . She is just sitting in the corner.

I’m sorry the baby isn’t eating. You can try to support feed it from a syringe. Kitten replacement formula or goat’s milk plus a little full cream can be given. It’s very important that the baby is kept warm.

Sometimes there is something wrong internally with a baby bun, something that prevents it from thriving. It is often difficult to save a very young bun that is refusing to suckle.

Here is some info about how to care for very young rabbits:

            Thank you .

But I couldn’t save her , kitten replacement formula is not available here , we have very limited pet stores which have only puppy milk formula . I tried for goat milk too , no exotic vet available. She was unable to use her hind legs & had seizures too , its just only 1 month , I lost her 😢

She was fine till a day ago but unexpectedly she stopped eating,  still don’t know what happened to her.

              I’m sorry you lost her.

Its highly likely there was something really wrong with her that caused her to stop suckling.
