So I just recently adopted a 8 week old female Lionhead Dwarf and she’s been doing fine. Seems very healthy and loves eating hay. I noticed today though that she developed some type of eye booger crust thing. this is my first pet rabbit so I’m probably over reacting but it’s always better to be safe then sorry. She has a vet visit in a couple weeks. I washed my hands and gently picked at her crust. It honestly did look like an eye booger, and I noticed it appeared after she woke up. But then I examine her eye further I see this cloudy stringy thing at the bottom of her eye. I’d like to know everybody’s thoughts and what I should do. Thanks! The attachments below are after I picked the little tiny crust. It was really small ! And she closed her eyes and let me do it she was very calm.

It’s just like humans when we get “sleep” in our eyes after sleeping. When buns have partners, they clean it for each other so we usually don’t see it on buns.
If it starts to be a pussy-like consistency, then I would start to be alarmed. But she’s cute!
