Well my babies are all grown now and ready for their new homes. They are all going in pairs, two boys, two girls and a boy/girl pair who have gone to live with my twin sister. I could only trust her with them because I know for certain that they will be neutered (she has the two dutch looking buns now called Peppa and Joe). I found it really hard taking those two away from mum, but they seem really happy and confident which I’m pleased about. Two are going to their new home on Sunday and the other two are staying until next week. I have put together a care pack and stated that they must come back to me should there be any problems. I’m going to miss them so much but I can’t keep them because I just don’t have the room for them as week as my six 🙁

        some pics…..

Oh my goodness, they are quite simply adorable! How hard it must be to part with them but you’ve done a fantastic job raising them, I hope you find wonderful forever homes for every pair.

WOW!  Those are some seriously cute baby buns.  Thank you for being there for these guys and making sure they got off to a good start.  It is so hard to let go (believe me, I know, I think about Shasta all the time) but we all know that you are doing the right thing.  Maybe you can be a foster parent for a litter some time down the road?  Given my experience with Marilyn and her little muffins, I would love to do it again some time.

I’m still feeling sad that they have to go, but I know that it’s best for them in the long run. I just hope that they all have wonderful lives and are well taken care of.

Osprey I really do know where you are coming from….tempted as I am I just can’t keep any. The little run (mostly white ball of fluff) is so very timid and I have a soft spot for her but I know that if I kept her I couldn’t give her the room I give all of my others and I would forever feel guilty. I do foster (although i’m not very good at it and either end up keeping one or get very upset at seeing them go) but I have also been lucky and kept in touch with new owners, even made some new friends!! I would love to foster another litter though, very rewarding albeit expensive!

I took the last two babies to their new home today. I found it all very upsetting and have spent the weekend in a fowl mood!! I only hope they all have long happy lives. I don’t understand how people can keep breeding their pets, it’s way too stressful.:-(

They can keep breeding them because to them, they are livestock not pets.

I love them. A fuzzy dwarf. I love it.
