Seems like I’m here a lot lately. Milo ate a sticker a few minutes ago, I’m not sure how big it was or what kind because I didn’t see the entirety of it. I think it’s made of plastic but I’m not totally sure. What should I do?

The vast majority of the time, nothing bad happens. Just encourage hay and water. The plastic part should pass through.

Rabbits tend to chew whatever they eat into very small pieces. Because of their internal anatomy, bigger pieces of whatever they swallow cant pass through to their stomach. This is a great advantage because it means they won’t swallow socks or long strands of tinsel whole like dogs and cats are apt to do.

I’d keep an eye, push hay and water. If your bun gets fresh greens, you can serve them freshly rinsed and soaking wet, for extra hydration.

He seems to be doing okay. I can’t tell if he passed it or not, but he’s eating and drinking and pooping like normal, and he doesn’t seem to be in any pain. He’s asleep right now, but he ate some treats earlier.

GI transit time is about 6 hours I believe, so if he’s doing fine following that, you’re likely in the clear!
