Welcome Shanelbabe and Bunnyhop! Shanelbabe, great advice, do you have any pictures of your bunnies?
Bunnyhop! Some basic PRE-bunny tips are:
They are not low-maintenance animal companions, but with the time and care commitment, they offer wonderful rewards for all of the effort. Just check out Littertraining and House Proofing sections (under Bunny Info section of this site) to get an idea of some of the challenges that many people have to overcome.
I also recommend reading the FAQ section of the forum. There you will find even more challenges people have had to deal with. This way it may give you a good idea of what you may be facing. Not to sway you from having a bunny, but being prepared is the key to a compatible human bunny companionship.
I also recommend that you check out your local rabbit rescues, shelters and humane societies. Most of the rabbits are already spayed/neutered which will eliminate a big expense and possible health and behavior issues. Plus, that way you have a better chance at finding a bunny that may fit better into your life. Many of the shelter volunteers know their rabbits’ personalities and can help guide you to a good match. Babies are really cute, but if they can be messy, and go through that very challenging sexual maturity time (which is when many people tire of their cuteness and get frustrated)
Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!
Hey Binky Bunny

Hooray Hooray I got ideas from Shanelbabe the best of all

Ur the best
If you want to give a rabbit a home, think of the rabbits that come from rescue centres they are really needy of a loving home.
As Binky Bunny said a rabbit can be a long term commitment, too many people buy them before educating themselves and then discover they need a lot of care.
That is the reason there is a lot of rescued rabbits because people decide to buy first without the knowledge and unfortunately because of this rabbits have become a throw away item.
Please check this site out also it has valuable information that can help.
http://www.petfinder.com is a good site that you can find animals to adopt and it is also nationwide.
Hey lisa 43 your rite forgotton about it
You can adopt from websites im from Singapore
you can go to websites like
http://www.hrss.net , https://www.binkybunny.com,www.3bunnies.org and others
Luv all of yu
Hey Bunnyhop so you have decided to buy males thats ok yeah yeah i know i do read
alot of books related to bunnies my bunnies listen to me sometimes , but sometimes
they dont i will tell you how to train your rabbit you should try not to buy bunnies from a
pet shop you should adopt poor bunnies which were abandoned so you can give them
a home to train your bunnies you will have to call their names a few times as they might
not know what you are trying to say but in the end they will listen to yu a bit about 75% out
of 100% you should let them be bunny – proffed in your house if your bunny listens to you when you call him
you should give it a treat if it listens so it will be more happy !! Hope this helped you
Please adopt, don’t shop. The bunnies you save will love you for it!!!
Bunnyhop: It is important to realize that with any two rabbits, you are not garaunteed that they will like eachother. I would say if you want to have two rabbits, the best thing to do would be to adopt an already bonded pair from a shelter if one is available. That way you won’t have to worry about the bonding process as it can be long and very tiring. You can easily have a male/female pair and no babies, the bunnies just have to be fixed. Most people will tell you that male/female bonds are the easiest as well. Plus, it is really better for your rabbits to be fixed because it prevents many diseases that they could otherwise end up with. “Fixed” bunnies are also less likely to have as many litter box and agression issues as intact bunnies. It is also VERY important to bunny proof whatever room or rooms the bunnies will be allowed in before they come home. Shanelle mentioned that bunnies like to chew wires and that is not only bad for the wires, the bunny can get electrocuted too. I am not sure where you live, but if they are available where you are, NIC (or smart idea cubes) work great for keeping bunnies out of areas with cords or other dangerous objects.
If you have any more questions, ask away! The people on this board are great, and always willing to help!
