Are they fighting?

I have a 1 year old bunny named Cleo and a 3 month old bunny named Honey. Neither of them are fixed, currently. (I plan to save money for it once I get a job) anyways, I brought honey home a month ago. Cleo has never been a people bunny and I thought a friend would be good for her. They got along right away. There was no fighting. They’ve been cuddling and playing together since they met.
But at night, when they have to go back in their cage; sometimes Cleo will chase Honey, attempting to hump her. Honey makes this weird high pitches squeal noise when it happens. It sounds very similar to the squeaky noise my chinchilla makes when she’s happy.
I don’t really understand what it is. They get along perfectly fine. The chasing usually only happens at night, about 1-2 times almost every night. They stop right away when I go over to pet them and calm them down. I was petting honey tonight when it happened and I noticed some scab feeling spots on her back. I didn’t pick her up to check since it was dark in my room and 1am and my friend is sleeping.
I plan on checking tomorrow morning; although I’m scared picking up honey will make her like me less. She always runs when I try to pet her and she only cares to play with Cleo. Which is why this squealing thing makes no sense to me. They love each other.

Yes they will be fighting. Scabs, squealling- all signs.
You cannot have two unspayed bunnies together. They will fight when maturity sets in and it can be deadly. You’ll need to seperate them straight away and not reattempt bonding until at least a month after they are desexed

They do not love each other – Cleo is attacking Honey hence the chasing and scabs. Who knows what happens when you’re not there to supervise.

You cannot put rabbits together without going through a proper bonding process and bunnies cannot be bonded until all involved are neutered and spayed. Seperate them immediately and keep them apart until both are neutered/spayed and hormones have disipated.

I just brought my sisters bunnies old cage upstairs so when they go to bed tonight they’ll be separated. I feel kind of bad because they do cuddle but for now I know this is the better thing to do.
Do you think they’ll be okay together while they run around my room? They’re constantly supervised when they’re out and they never fight when they’re out.

Don’t risk it. If you separate now and there are no further issues when you come to bond properly it will be easier.They may hold a grudge and never bond if they are given any further chances to fight.

No they need to be completely separate, Inc play time.

They should not be allowed together at all until they are both fixed. Even under supervision, you can’t let them be together. The more they fight the more intense it will become. She is young, reaching her hormonal state. Rabbits can fight to the death, it’s absolutely unacceptable to have them together. They will not be friends until both are spayed, have been given 1 month to recover, and have been PROPERLY bonded. You cannot just throw them together, you have to go through the bonding process. In the mean time, complete separation, 100% of the time.

Also, you would have been better off having her separate from the beginning so you could bond with her. You said your rabbit isn’t a “people” rabbit and you brought home another rabbit so you have further isolated yourself. Spending time bonding with both rabbits separately should also help the bonding process go smoothly. She runs away from you right now because she hasn’t bonded with you, so you’ll need to address that.
