Are sugar beets and oxalis iron cross edible?

I know that beets are edible, but are sugar beets too sweet? I’d just be giving a tiny piece, of course.

And what about oxalis iron cross? I know that a lot of oxalis species aren’t edible in general, but the iron cross variety is edible and delicious to humans. I just can’t find any info on whether or not it’s edible for rabbits.

Since I am not a “beet” person, I don’t know. The diet list just said beets(just caution for sensitive rabbits). If sugar beets reflect their name, then I would imagine it would be higher in sugar and so if that is the case, then it would be smart to not give very much.

I don’t know anything Oxalis Iron Cross. First time I’ve even heard of it (though when I looked it up, I recognize it) Checked the HR Handbook and didn’t find it on the toxic list. (doesn’t mean it’s not though). When it doubt, I wouldn’t give it – so many “for sure” safe greens to give.

If you DO find info on it though that claims to be safe for bunnies, let me know!
