Just a quick question. Are these toys ok? I got these for them for Christmas and was just wondering if the are all right because of the ink.

        Thanks,

        Mocha200

Generally, chewable wood toys are ok. Are they made as pet toys? Do you have more info than just little pictures?

If they are made for pets, they use safe ink. I always get a bit nervous about bright toys, too. Those top ones look like pencils – they have points? If they are made for children, they are probably safe, but I wouldn’t trust them for animals. If you are considering buying them, check them out online and see if you can find out if it’s soy-based ink (or says non-toxic) to be certain. I like the natural non-colored things best. The bunnies don’t seem to respond particularly to colors, more to taste. (Never underestimate the power of a brown, unpeeled willow toy!)

sorry for the lack of info. It was like midnight here when I posted that. lol.

I have already bought them, they were in the small animal section at petco, and when I took them out of the package the ink felt smooth. not normally what the fruit flavored ink on other chew toys felt like.

I wanted to get them willow but the toy with willow sticks tied to gather, I had already gotten them twice and when i was browsing the old post from the Habitats and Toys, I herd some ones bun got there head stuck in the willow ball because the willow was so hard.

Bunny owners posted these about the blocks :]

I bought these because they’re more affordable than other medium-sized wood chews, they’re safe, they’re cute, they’re not completely coated in dye, and there are plenty in a pack. I have several rabbits, and I could give each of them several of these chews. They immediately started nibbling at them and nudging them around. Lucy, my biggest chewer, seems to find them particularly satisfying to chew on.

I love these wood chews. My bun just adores them and she loves to chew, just about anything. She loves to throw them around her cage and i love spellling stuff out and putting them in her cage. Anyone with rabbits who like to chew should buy these.

These blocks are lightweight and colorful, my rabbit can throw them around his pen all day. with the hole through the middle of each one, it’s easy to string timothy hay or something similar too in order to entice him to play with them and just for an extra fun treat!
