Forum DIET & CARE Are these nail clippers good for 🐰?

        Hey guys. I use these nail clippers on my cats and I’m wondering if they can be used for my bunnies when I get them. I’ve seen people use the small scissor-like ones, but they look like they break easy to me.

          I always use the scissor-style ones. They are easier to put over the nail and are easier to control. Plus you can easily let go if bunny suddenly tries to struggle. With the style you pictured, you have to thread the nail through a hole. If they struggle, then the nail isn’t easily released.

            @LBJ10 Thank you! I’ll check if they have them at the pet store here and see if they work better on the buns. 🙂
