I’m not sure if I should post this on a cat forum, but I figure they probably don’t have bunnies along with cats, but some of you may!

My kitten got a clean bill of health and is allowed to interact with my other animals, but he’s too small to be with them (they’re too rough).  I let him and Atticus run around my room together, they seem to really like eachother, and I’ll never leave them alone together, but I saw Charlie (kitten) eating at Atticus’ Orchard and Timothy hay.  I was wondering if it’s safe for him? I know cats eat grass outside, but it usually makes them puke, and most of the plants outdoors are deadly.  So any cat and bunny owners who haven’t had any sick kittens?

Scooter and Annette’s cat eats their bunnies hay! I’m sure it’s fine but I’ll let the others chip in!

alright, thanks. Charlie doesn’t eat a lot, he just nibbles but I want to be sure it was okay

Yeah, I don’t think it will have any bad effects on your kitty. My cats eat Dallas’ hay all the time and they’re fine. I’ve actually caught them eating some pellets apparently those are okay too lol

my cats will nibble the hay if they can- and then barf it up later.  It really should not be a problem for a cat to eat some as it is just basically grass.
