Bunnies operate both during the day and during the night. Their high metabolism don’t allow for them to sleep for very long periods of time.

Rabbits are actually crepuscular, meaning they are most active in the twilight hours of both sunrise and sunset. 🙂
I think many house rabbits are most active at night because their people are home.

We have the "Midnight Bink" happen every night around 11:30ish to midnight, Bammer in particular, he goes bananas in his cage for about 10 minutes then all is quiet.   I doesn’t matter how many hours they were out zooming and binking during the day either.

^^^i’ve noticed this with Meadow, a daytime Binky is a rare occurence… but between the hours of about 10pm and midnight, watch out!  she’s getting some serious airtime!

My buns are most active in the evening. That is when they come out for their run and binkies. They spend most of the afternoon asleep in their box houses.
