O.M.G.! My trip was amazing! Isaw the state capitol, got to pan for gold, stayed at a nice hotel, and so much more!I’m still really tired ecause my wakeup call was at 6:30 A.M.. While I was gone, my bunny had a vetrinarian appointment and it went well from what I heard. He had ear mites but it was a red ear mites and it turned out to be his blood!  The vet called everyone in and my dad said it was funny. He had his medication and I found out that he is actually a dutch not a mini-rex! The pet store ripped me of! We still love him the same though. My dad now has an appointment to get him fixed on tuesday!=) I’m so happy and sad and excited at the same time!

That’s great news! I’m glad you are getting him neutered and glad you had a great trip.

Let us know how his surgery goes.

Here is a great article from the House Rabbit Society about pre and post surgery stuff.   http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/spay-neuter.html#pre-post-care

A good way to prepare and to know what to expect.

O.M.G.! Domino just came back from his neuter appointment and I’m already seeing improvements! The doctor said that the surgery went very well and I gave hima a treat when he came back. So far he’s only pooping in one area and he’s been on the couch twice( that little rascal) and he didn’t pee at all! I’m so happy!!!!!=)

WOW, that is good news, especially since it can take about a month or so for the hormones to die down.

Also, the fact that he already pooping is good. Shows his digestive tract is moving! How’s his appetite?

you might want to restrict him from jumping around for a couple days, even if he seems to be doing okay. it’s just for his safety.

                            ((((((((((healing vibes Domino!))))))))

I have a queastion. Is there still suppose to be his testicles there? They aren’t big like they have been producing sperm but are they still suppose to be there?

And Domino’s appetite is ok. I filled his bowl when he came home but he ate it when I woke up. My dad said it’s a VERY good sign that he’s eating.

His testicles will shrink eventually – so yes, you will still see them for a little while.

Oh. Thank You!!!!!!! I was really worried for a second there. Will they eventually go away?

Eventually you will not ever see them – I don’t know if they technically go away or not, I guess they do. I cannot see them on any of my neutered rabbits at all.
