Has anybody tried giving bunnie’s applesauce? I was eating applesauce for lunch, and thought maybe bunnies might like it. Or is it too processed with added sugar or what not? I only give Dutchess fresh fruits and veggies, nothing processed, so I figured I’d ask before trying it.

I only gave it to Buster when I have to give her meds as I cannot syringe feed her! She licks it up!

They have all natural applesauce with no added sugars if that’s what you’re worried about.

I recommend not to feed your rabbits with processed food like applesauce. Continue to give your bunnies fresh fruits and vegetables. Do you know that sugar are in most vegetables? Your rabbits have enough of sugar from fruits, vegetables, and pellets.

If it’s all natural applesauce, made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, it’s fine to feed some to your bunny. Of course, as with all treats, don’t let her have too much at once.

Yep, I agree that it would be a fine treat as long as it’s all natural and has no added sugar – just read the label first.

Okay, thanks! I did try to get her to have a nibble of some today, but she refused. I might try again later on, I usually don’t like to overpush the diva on trying something new. It always backfires x.x
