My life LOL
I was thinking and I have like ten threads I could start right now to get you all up to speed-seems like so much is going on right now!!
So heres whats been going on in my crazy world!! (Readers Digest Version)
Great Shelter News: First I got an email from “save a pet” uk website this morning-asking us if we could put a link up to them on our site! Of course! How exciting-then I was looking through links on rabbit.org for our new member from Ohio and we’re on the rabbit.org list of shelters link page!!! OMG! http://www.rabbit.org/links/sections/groups.html I am so pumped; Our registration with Petfinder.org is almost complete and I hope by the end of the weekend to have our available bunnies up there! And I found out about the process with the bank last night about setting up a trust fund (a lot of the shelters around here do it) and you set it up at a bank and then advertise and anyone can drop into the bank and make a donation. It’ll be a process but that’s my next goal!
Other stuff: I’m picking up a few petsitting jobs over christmas as I know it’s hard to find boarding and I could seriously use a bit more cash-and I’m taking two weeks off work to just do shelter stuff so what’s a few more animals to care for! LOL Especially when I’m getting eighty hours extra time (two weeks off work) and one of the jobs I’m taking is a lady who has two bunnies!
Oh and I got a new job! It’s at my old work but it’s waaay less stressful then my current job, pays more and is higher up in the company (isn’t that the truth -the higher you go the less work you have to do!) LOL anyways I start Jan 12 so that I can train my replacement but I’m sooo pumped!
Yes, so anyways-it’s anything but boring right now in my corner of the world!!
