I am obsessed with the books!! I loved the movie!! I have seen it 8 times!! Just wondering if anyone else saw the movie and like it??

I like to think of it as a seperate entity from the book. If I don’t then I can pick apart too much!! Almost like I do with the Harry Potter books/movies!!

I am glad they are getting a different director for New Moon. Katherine Hardwicke the director did an ok job but there were too many fancy camera angles and way too many close ups on Edward and Bella’s faces!!

Robert Pattinson made and excellent Edward!! sooooo hot!

Am I alone in my twilight obsession?

I’m a Harry Potter fan, but I haven’t had time to get into Twilight yet, but my son is totally in love with it. He’s seen it 8 times also!

I know what you mean about the books and movies being separate entities. The first couple of times I see the movie all I see are the parts they’ve left out!

OMG NO YOUR NOT ALONE!!!!! Ive seen the movie 5 times and read all four books 4 times each, and the online draft for the 5th book twice. I just cant get enough, and i hate to admit it but im in love with a fictional character-Edward of course. I agree about Kristen, i didnt believe her, she didnt look like she was in love with Robert. Robert was great though, totally believable. I think of the movie the same way as you- seperate from the books, because they are so different. The books are so much better, the movie is awesome too but.. different kind of awesome. Ill talk for hours about twilight i swear, i have actually lol. The fifth is my favorite, because there is more of Alice and Emmett in it. Cry really bad every time i read the second, get mad at Bella in the third lol. Hopefully you have read the others and know what im talking about! So.. Yes im obsessed!!!

I totally know what you are talking about!! I can talk twilight with people for hours!!! I have read part of midnight sun but I made myself stop because I am convinced Stephanie Meyer will eventually finish and publish it and I want to be surprised!! I have started and stopped reading it sooo many times though! It is hard to restrain myself!!!  My car is even twilight!! I’ll post a pic!!

lol evansvillegirl26, love the car! Its not a Volvo, but hey i still love it. I hope she does publish Midnight Sun, but im not patient and cant stop myself from reading it to wait for the actual book. Even though she has said she would prefer we didnt read it yet, cant help it and its saved in my computer along with all the outtakes. Im going crazy now actually, my friend thinks i need to take a break from twilight and toke her books back lol, im considering just buying my own set now haha. Everything i see is twilight, tons of songs ive related to it too. I drive my family crazy when i change a few words of a song on the radio to make it fit lol.

I relate songs to it too!! Sometimes I hear a song and envision Bella and Edward dancing… I’ve read all the books many times but im holding back on the movie. I think if Im around people when I watch it I’ll become acutely aware of the corniness and it’ll ruin it for me. When I watched the trailer I was by myself and it was great. Then I watched it with my boyf, it instantly became lame and I noticed the flaws. Defs waiting for the DVD. I love edward. When the fone in the clinic rings me and my colleagues run to the fone screaming “edward???” truly addictive series!! i may read twilight again lol. 4 times in a week and a half.

Yeah, me too. My teenagers got me into Twilight. I tend to enjoy the “young adult” genre more than the trash written for grownups. We’ve started reading Stephanie Meyers’ “The Host” this week, and I think it’s better written than Twilight!

Also, “Inkheart” opens tomorrow, and we’ve read those books, too. Can’t wait to see it.

O cannot wait for the movie of Inkheart, it looks really good!
I have not watched the twilight movie becuase I heard from a few that it was bad and I did not want it to ruin the book for me.

What is Inkheart? I have never heard of it!! Is it a series? I love book series!!

It’s a series by Cornelia Funkie (Fantasy Genre)….I think that’s right? I only know this as I looked at buying my neice books by this author at Christmas. Like the new siggy pics :o)

Like I said you have to think of the book and the movie as a seperate entity. The movie def has some cheezy parts but I still LOVED it!! Rob Pattinson as Edward soooo hot!

And you definately cant compare the book to the movie. i HATED the movie the first time i watched it because it was such a disappointment. but then i watched it a second time and actually really liked it because i wasnt trying to compare it to the book.

i think alot of people did the same thing!! thats why I tell everyone to give it a second chance!! Plus it’s real cool every time I see it I hve noticed something I did not see before!!! I’m so excited the DVD will be out in less then 2 months!!

I got mine on ebay!! It was like $4 just type in twilight sticker or twilight decal something like that!!!

Have you listened to the audio books?? I got them at the library and put them on my ipod!! I listen to them all the time!! I’m way to obsessed!

haha you sound like my best friend. She has them in her Zune and listens to them all the time and has read them over and over again and watched the movie over and over again. I have seen the movie 3 times. haha

The last time I saw the movie, I think i saw Stephenie Meyer in the movie!? Any one else catch that? Its the scene where Bella and Charlie are in that little dinner. Its in the very beginning of the scene, I swear the waitress handed her the food at the bar and said something like here you go Stephenie. I turned to my friends and asked, but they didnt see it, since it was just quick and background. Am i crazy? Any one else see that?

Her books are the best!!! I thought the movie was a bit of a let down compared to the books though, i didnt like the cast. They made Jasper into a compleate joke! How horrable is that? And Bella was a little on the manly side…. But the books are so good!

Does anyone know when/if Stephanies going to release the new one? Ive heard shes not going to after the leak….
