LMAO my sister was just tellin me about these books she is teaching in Korea and the first book she ever read it took her eight hours straitght and she only got 40 minutes of sleep before work…she is OBSESSED I myself have not heard of them lol

You know, I’m having too much fun making fun of the crazyfans.

The books seem okay, if pretty clumsily-written fluff with waaaay too many adjectives. (and come on – a sparkly vampire baseball team?)

But the TwiFans – I mean, did someone spray Miracle InsaneGro around? There was a near-riot at the ComiCon panel, and the poor lead guy had to deal with middle-aged women asking him what kind of underwear he wears! A friend saw a woman throw a fit in the bookstore and storm out because the clerk didn’t think they were all that great. And the write-in campaign to try and get reviewers to change their minds about the books – WTF?

At this point I don’t think I could read them – I’m having too much fun watching the floor show!

I went to the midnight release party for breaking dawn and then finished it at 8:00 am. so i read all through the night

I lov the books!! They are  guilty pleasure books for me!! Plus I love love love vampire books!! They saying that they are the next Harry Potter but they are totally different for me. I like the love story of Bella and Edward  but the Harry Potter books are on a whole other level! JK Rowlings  writing is a hundred times better and  she had all 7 books laid out ahead. I think with Breaking Dawn, Stephanie Meyer just kinda threw it together to have it come out on time.  I still love the saga but I wish Breaking Dawn would of  been a little different.

oh obviously i have read each one like a bigillion times. i have to wait for every book to come out so i just kept rereading them. yeah i liked the beginning of breaking dawn but i think the ending could have been better. at the moment i am reading a book series called the vampire diaries. there are a couple of similarities with the twilight book but they arent as good.

I love the twilight series! I’m team Edward, but was undecided in the second and third book. I thought the cast for the movie could have been better, but I’ll be ok if the acting is good.

im reading the vampire diaries too. Kaitlynily you should read the House of Night Series. It’s much better in my opinion than the vampire diaries and it has more similarities to Twilight. It starts with the book “Marked” then the series continues in this order “betrayed, chosen, untamed” and the series still isnt done yet. all of them are written by P.C. Cast.

yeah i just bought the book marked. but i’m not going to start reading it until i finish the vampire diaries which i am going to do today, i only have like 100 pages left which i can read in about an hour. i just watched something about the twilight movie on tv guide and i am even more excited to see it!!!!

My teenage daughter got me started on Twilight, then she got bored and never finished the second book (how was that possible???), while I plowed right through and got my son hooked on it, too. (Yes, there are guys out there that are TwiFans, and we’re a household of serious scifi/fantasy folks) I was definately pulling for Jacob, but I’m okay with the resolution of it all in Breaking Dawn. Looking forward to the movie!
