It’s been a month since Tempe’s surgery.  Tonks is still pooping EVERYWHERE though. I was just wondering if there was any right time to start bonding.  Or if I should just jump right into starting!!  They don’t attack thru the casge when the other is out anymore. But when I swtich them in their cages there is serious marking and territory  pooping!

Marking and pooping is normal, especially when you shift cages. Afterall, they’re saying “Hey! This smells like the other guy! I needta fix that!” *poop poop poop*.

I’d say to start when you’re sure you’ll be able to keep it up on a continuous time.

That’s a good consideration-you’ll want to make sure you arne’t really busy so you can do a session each day.

Like they said, you want to be able to do some bonding everyday. The marking may continue until after they are firmly bonded and living together fulltime. Some buns (single or not) will always mark to a certain degree.
