I’m moving from an apartment to a house and want to keep my rabbits free range still. They completely DESTROYED the baseboards. I managed to block off the baseboards with cardboard (eye sore and not effective long term). They either ripped the tape up, OR would stand up and bite the inside/ outside of the door frame which is the same material/ look as the base board *muted scream*

I’m looking for something longterm and visually not awful looking. I was thinking plexiglass glass – anyone have any experience? It needs to be hard so they dont bite through it – they avoid plastics and stuff but rubbers and wood may not last.

        i dont know what to do for doorways because they’ll still.. b i t e a n d s t a n d… which basically means if i properly cover the doorframe , goodbye to being able to close my doors…

the more affordable the better. but i dont have a specific budget. i was considering building them a custom cage but what’s the point if when i take them out they will just bite the baseboards again… LOL

First thing I would try (because it’s easy, cheap, harmless, and effective for many buns) is to take a bar of plain ivory soap and rub it on them.
