        *WAVES* Hello Everyone!

My name is Tiffany I am from Ontario. I am a bun mum to two beautiful little racals. My first bun hr name is Dora she is a mini rex I purchased her from a pet store she was the only one left after the easter rush and she was so lonley so I had to bring her home. She was 7 weeks when I brought her home she is now about 4.5. She doesnt like to cuddle anymore, be handled or taken out of her cage and will bite when running free. She is now moved into the bedroom right now as I am going to re-introduce her again to the family room or just move my computer in there with her. But right now with a almost 11 month old crawlin around I cant risk biting. But I am workong on it with ehr and I am sue with some extra love she will come around.

Our newest baby is Oreo he isa  french lop fairly big boy. I picked him up form the shelter yesterday. Still adjusting as he was not given any veggies it seems, never hay only Alfalfa and pine shaings. He was kept ina  back room with no interaction but ALOT of crying kittens poor guy. He stole my heart. I currently have the cage in the bathroom with the top off incase he wants some free run but 30 minutes so far and he is still very timid. No baxckground info was given except he was found otside. So we will be working on things and maybe litter training with him.

Niether babies are fixed Dora is to young and Oreo was just brought her so they are not together but will be fixed slowly when more funds come and also when Oreo settles and Dora isold enough

Looking forward to sharng and chatting

        TIffany

Hi! Welcome to Binkybunny! It sounds like you are an excellent bun care-taker, and I’m looking forward to hearing more about your bunnies.  Its so nice of you to pick up a bunny from the shelter – I do a lot of work with rescue groups, and people that adopt the rescue buns are angels for us!  I’m sure with some time that Oreo will become more social and Dora will become more gentle. I’ve had quite a lot of experience with shy buns, and they become excellent companions.  A good trick is hand feeding them as much as posible – hand feeding treats like bananas, apples, and carrots from time to time, as well as their veg is a great way to bond and teach the bunnies to trust you!
