In a literal blink of an eye, Annie has crossed the Bridge. Only a couple of hours ago, we noticed something was wrong and she passed shortly after. She had been fine up til then.

Annie was a shelter bunny. We chose her because the shelter worker said she was “mean” and I was scared no one else would want a mean bunny. It turns out, she was only mean because she was pregnant! She had been housed beside another “female”(whom we also adopted and later bonded them) so she came with bonus babies . She has always been a spitfire and full of vim and vinegar.

She was bonded with a little guy named Zane, who was her second husbun.

We will all surely miss you, little girl. Binky free xx

I’m so very sorry. Saying goodbye is always so hard, but it’s even more so, I think, when it’s sudden like that. ((((Hugs))))

Sorry for your loss. It’s wonderful you took her in fearing she wouldn’t find a home. Sounds like she had a great life that, you probably being right, she would have never had. And as Phil said, it’s nice you have her babies. Sorry again.

I’m so sorry, BM. It is of course a blessing when a rabbit doesn’t have to suffer, but it’s a profound shock when they just up and leave like that. I hope little Zane will be ok. I hope Annie is binkying in bunny heaven now with all the other binky bunny buns, my Yohio included.

                    Binky free, sweet ****Annie****

I thought I was over this sorrow – I’m NOT! Shedding tears for your baby…… I am so truly SORRY! My heart aches and my tummy hurts and is empty. Thinking of you always. xoxox

                      GOSH, I am so sad……

Sorry to read this, sudden losses are hard, we lost Pippi very suddenly in a similar way a couple of weeks ago, fine only a couple of hours before.

                          Binky free ((Annie))

Oh, I remember a bit about Annie. Im sorry BM. Sending virtual (((hugs))).
Maple (who also arrived pregnant) passed suddenly, when everything seemed okay. It is quite the shock. So I do feel for you. It can leave you feeling pretty helpless. The thing that helps (a little) to focus on is the thing you did have control of, and that is the safe home you were able to provide for her and bunny companionship.
                            Binky free, Annie!
If I remember right, Zane is bonded somewhat with you and your husband, right? I hope that helps him through the loss of his bunny mate.
