Hello…we brought the bun home from the rabbit sitting place today after our week away, she does not seem her normal self, wondering if she is angry or its something else?

As soon as we let her out of the carrier she ran to her hidey spot (not in her pen..she has several spots in our house) and has stayed there since. Overall she refuses to eat anything, however she has eaten a small piece of lettuce and a cranberry treat. No grinding teeth etc….just doesn’t move from that one spot and doesn’t run for her food as usual. She has not used her litter, only marked her pen and then ran to her spot where she has been for the last few hours.

How long has she been home? When was the last time she ate and went to the bathroom at her baby-sitters place?

Rabbits get annoyed/upset by changes like being in a car, being transported, going to the vet. It might take her a bit to readjust to being home, even a few days. As long as she’s eating and going to the bathroom regularly there is nothing to worry about, but if she doesn’t go to the bathroom for a while, or won’t eat for a while, then you might want to call a vet.

Rabbits generally resent change. They can even take ill due to stress induced by change of environment. Observe her closely and encourage her to transition back to her routine. It should only take a a couple of days.
